These rhomboid close weave (‘tupido’) 2-colour rebozos come in 2.5m (with a 15 cm fringe on either side). Width for all these is 65 cm. They are the softest cotton rebozos I have encountered.
I source these specific rebozos from a tradition-loving Mexican-American couple, who get all their rebozos woven by local artisans in Mexico. Denisse started searching for her Native Mexican roots during her pregnancy and remembered seeing rebozos used in small villages and towns in Mexico by pregnant women, in labour, to bind new mothers and then to baby wear. Her mission now is to bring these same tools to more women, and I’m very happy to be able to be part of that mission!
