To source these 2m close weave (‘tupido’) rebozos I work with a Mexican woman and her daughter who are equally passionate about women & babies as they are about Mexican traditional artisanal work.
These particular rhomboid close weave rebozos are all 2m long (with a 15 cm fringe on either side), on a width of 58 cm. They are traditional Mexican rebozos that were handmade on a waist loom in San Andres Tzicuilan, a town in the north of Puebla, Mexico.
